By amending the EU Regulation 216/2008, the European Aviation Safety Agency – EASA’s authorities in the field of air navigation and airports are extended.
In order to reflect such extension of its powers, EASA submitted to the Civil Aviation Agency amended Working Arrangement expanding its authorities in the field of air navigation.
With the amended Annex to the Working Arrangement, EASA will have power to control the performance of audit over the air navigation safety in the Republic of Macedonia through the standardized controls over the operation of the Civil Aviation Agency and visits to the official Air Navigation Service Provider in the Republic of Macedonia.
