Initiative for establishment of a joint services provision area

Ten aeronautical organizations of Southeast Europe signed on 29 April 2013 at Sarajevo a Letter of Intent for joint provision of services of the countries in the region, under the auspices of the Regional Cooperation Council.

This initiative is aimed to strengthening the cooperation in the field of air transport, by means of offering safe and efficient air navigation services.

The document was signed by the Directors of the aeronautical authorities of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Hungary.

For the Macedonian aeronautical authorities, the Letter of Intent was signed by Ph.D Dejan Mojsoski, Director General of the CAA and by Mr. Zhivko Poposki, President of the Managing Board of M-NAV.

The signatories of the Letter of Intent expect that this initiative for joint cooperation of the Southeast European countries will finally eliminate the barriers to the opening of the Kosovo sky.
