Organized by the Civil Aviation Agency, on April 24, 2025, a working meeting was held at the premises of the Skopje Aeroclub at Stenkovec Airport with representatives from aviation industry organizations in the country on the topic: “Implementation of the recommendations from Regulation (376/2014) of the Council of Europe and the European Parliament on the reporting, analysis, and follow-up of events in civil aviation.”

At the meeting, which was attended by experts from the Civil Aviation Agency and representatives from aviation industry organizations in the country, an analysis was also conducted on the latest edition of the National Aviation Safety Program.

The working session had an informative, educational, and promotional character and aimed to inform the aviation industry about the changes in the national safety program, the obligations arising from its implementation, the current awareness level regarding event reporting, weaknesses in the application of Regulation 376/2014, analytical and statistical overviews, as well as the definition of methods for improvement.

To that end, the aviation professionals from the Civil Aviation Agency presented guidelines to the attendees for strengthening the safety culture and raising awareness about event reporting.

The meeting also highlighted legal solutions for identifying hazards and deficiencies through the processing of data from reported safety events, with the aim of improving civil aviation safety and implementing a proactive and predictive approach to aviation safety management.

After the presentations concluded, a working discussion was held during which directions were defined to be followed in order to enhance the level of air traffic safety.
