The Civil Aviation Agency of the Republic of Macedonia and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) have officially signed an Agreement on Business and Financial Cooperation, with the aim of enhancing safety in the field of search and rescue (SAR) in civil aviation.

This agreement defines the framework and modalities of business and financial cooperation between the two institutions, including the exchange of information, financial and logistical support, as well as the organization of joint trainings, seminars, and other activities related to search and rescue.

Both parties agreed to maintain regular coordination and joint meetings to review the results of the cooperation and to identify new areas for improvement of the SAR system. Financial resources will be transferred from the Agency to the CMC in accordance with established cost schedules and EUROCONTROL procedures.

The signing of this agreement represents a significant step towards improving operational coordination and the efficiency of search and rescue operations in the Republic of Macedonia.
